The Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena joined other Religious Congregations, Catholic Organisations and Institutions at an exhibition of information about our Congregation at the first ever Catholic Youth Expo held on Saturday January 15, 2011 under the aegis of the Archdiocesan Youth Commission. The event, which was held at the Centre of Excellence, was attended by approximately 2,700 young men and women and marked the culmination of a series of ‘Youth Conversations’ mandated by the Synod and held at various levels over an extended period.
The display by our Congregation featured posters, banners, leaflets, photographs, books and a DVD presentation on various aspects of our life, spirituality, charism and apostolic activities. Many young people visited the booth during the day and took advantage of the opportunity to interact with our sisters.
